Check out this new UK plug design from a Royal College of Arts student. A redesign of these monstrosities is well overdue and this effort seems perfectly viable on first glance. I'm no electrician though, so I wonder how much red-tape would have to be sheared before it gets to market. A lot probably. Although it won't completely clear up the forest of wires and cables most of us have beneath our desks, at least it will make our sockets look nicer. Gimme, gimme, gimme.
